這首聖詩選自1876年出版的Williamson's
Children Manual，可惜這本詩集資料不詳。
曲調
LISTEN出自英文首行"Little
Children wake and Listen"，取材自韓德爾的神劇所羅門王
(Solomon) 的第二幕第七樂章，原名"自東至西"
(From The East Unto the West)是一首合唱曲。曲調又稱
SWEET HOSANNA，取自
Bible Class Magazine (July, 1851)，首行為The
Children's Hosanna[1]。
